Awaken Wellbeing of Educators

Educators are tired .  Back in October a colleague asked me how my summer went, and I looked blankly at her confused by her question.  The rush of back-to-school and a quick-paced Fall had thrown me into such a busy state that I had forgotten just a few short months ago I had had the loveliest summer with my family.  Yet, within weeks, the rest and rejuvenation I had come to love had disappeared.

Why should we talk about mindfulness for educators?

For parents, it’s back to school shoppings, early wake-ups, and the promise of an upcoming routine.

September is a time of year that provides a reset – a chance to start again… Continue reading…

AWEsome Wellbeing Educator Retreat

The AWEsome Wellbeing Educator Retreat is happening on September 30th in Victoria, BC.

September is a busy month for educators. We often fill our days with time for everyone else but too often forget to look after ourselves.

We can’t be in a school in our fullest capacity to teach kids if we’re not in our fullest capacity ourselves. Happy teachers practice self-care.

This is an invitation to come practice heart-centred self-care.  Give yourself permission to nourish your body, find stillness in your thoughts and reconnect with the habits of wellbeing.

The… Continue reading…
